Gulliver is a co-educational private college preparatory day school established in 1926 in Miami, Florida. One of the largest independent schools in Florida, Gulliver enrolls more than 2,200 students in Grades PreK3-12 on four campuses.

Gulliver is seeking an Advancement Services Coordinator to support the development team with a variety of advancement services including gift processing, reporting, and donor correspondence including acknowledgements, gift receipts, and pledge reminders. Additional responsibilities include supporting the production of fundraising reports and fund accounting. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Advancement Services, the Coordinator will work closely with the entire development team to understand and anticipate development needs and help conceptualize and implement operational efficiencies and process improvements to enhance gift processing, database integrity, prospect research/management, data reporting and analysis, and system enhancements. This position will also provide general support as needed to the advancement team including assistance with fundraising events, supporting production of donor-related aspects of publications including programs, event-related materials, annual giving reports, and fundraising updates.

The ideal candidate has at least three years of experience in a development function and is deeply familiar with CRM software (e.g. SeniorSystems or Raiser’s Edge) and fundraising principles. Superior attention to detail required.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support gift processing, reporting, and donor correspondence including acknowledgements, gift receipts, and pledge reminders.
  • Assist in the production of fundraising reports and fund accounting
  • Anticipate development needs and help conceptualize and implement operational efficiencies and process improvements to enhance gift processing, database integrity, prospect research/management, data reporting and analysis, and donor acknowledgements
  • Work with development colleagues to generate prospect research.
  • Support implementation of wealth screening process.
  • Prepare donor correspondence including acknowledgement letters, gift receipts and pledge reminders
  • Support production of annual giving reports and regular fundraising updates.
  • Update constituent records in the advancement database.
  • Provide general support as needed to the advancement team including assistance with fundraising events, supporting production of donor-related aspects of publications including programs, event-related materials, annual giving reports, and fundraising updates.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum three years of experience in development field
  • Must be able to demonstrate communication skills
  • Proficiency in donor management software
  • Experience in stewardship writing and donor events
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with confidentiality and discretion
  • Ability to produce documents under tight deadlines with multiple priorities
  • Proactive and optimistic
  • Ability to work evening and weekend events as needed
