Job Summary

Gulliver Preparatory School's Miller Drive Campus seeks an Economics and Government teacher to join its Social Sciences Department to begin in the 2020- 2021 academic year.   Bachelor’s degree and/or advanced degree in the subject area is highly preferred. Applicants must be able to develop and execute effective lesson plans that cover the curriculum, engage students’ interests, and promote higher-order thinking.  Additionally, applicants will be expected to collaborate with other Social Science instructors as well as instructors in other disciplines within the department. Applicants must be adept at keeping accurate records of student progress and communicating with students, parents, and counselors to discuss any concerns or issues. Also, working knowledge of technology in the classroom is expected. Candidates who meet the qualifications for the position posted must submit a cover letter expressing interest and a resume.
