Job Summary

Gulliver is looking to hire a Middle School/Upper Elementary science teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.  Depending on experience, the primary teaching responsibility will be either fifth grade general science with an emphasis on environmental science, sixth grade earth and space science, or eighth grade physical science. Experience with Next Generation Science Standards are a plus as is experience with the Amplify curriculum or the International Baccalaureate, Middle Years Programmed.  Candidates must be adept at incorporating technology in the classroom and embrace 21st century teaching methods. Candidates should also be excited to serve as a student advisor. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in science or a related field and preferably a minimum of 3 to 5 years science teaching experience, ideally with upper elementary or middle school age students.
