 Job Summary

Gulliver Preparatory School is seeking to hire multiple full-time Floating Faculty for the upcoming 2024-25 school year. A Floating Faculty is a teacher who leads a classroom of students and continues the curriculum and learning when colleagues are absent from school for a day or over multiple days. The ideal candidate has an excellent understanding of the social-emotional development of primary and lower school children, ages 3-10, and knowledge of standards across subject areas. Preference is given to candidates who have experience with Responsive Classroom, Science of Reading, Bridges and Reveal Math and teaching in a 1:1 technology environment. Candidates should possess flexibility, positivity, a can-do attitude and growth mindset, strong communication skills, and be highly collaborative. A demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion and professional development is expected.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Early Elementary or Elementary Education is required. 
  • Minimum of 3 years teaching experience working with this age group.  

Pre-Employment Requirements

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
