(Part-Time) Academy Faculty/Academic Resource Program Clinician
Gulliver's Academy Campus is currently has a (Part-Time) position for an Academic Resource Program Clinician for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. Candidates should have a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Reading, Math and/or a Special Education degree with at least 18 credit hours of graduate reading and or math level courses. The candidate should possess strong foundational knowledge of teaching reading and/or math in special education or resource settings and have experience at the middle school level. He/she should be able to use a variety of instructional practices, approaches, methods and curriculum materials to support reading, writing, and/or math instruction. It is essential that the applicant demonstrates proficiency in the use of informal and diagnostic assessment tools, to plan and evaluate effective individualized instruction for students at different stages of development from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. A minimum of 3-5 years of classroom or clinical experience is required. Clinicians need to be able to work individually or in small groups with students in PK-8th grade but a strong middle school background is preferred.
