Swim School Director/Assistant Aquatics Director JOBING DESCRIPTION:  Gulliver Schools has an immediate opening for a Swim School Director/ Assistant Aquatics Director; this position will oversee and direct all activities of the Gulliver Swim School at the Gulliver Academy Campus. The Swim School Director will be responsible for the management and operation of the Swim School to include the education and training of the Swim School staff and instructors, develop Swim School curriculum and assure its implementation, manage program communications, ensure scheduling of students and instructors into appropriate classes, tracking of student skills and level progressions, work in conjunction with the Aquatics Director/Head Swimming Coach to develop program budget, conduct in-service training with staff to continue education of instructors and supervisors, and actively market Gulliver Swim School to the community.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:  Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the aquatics industry to include: a) Working with youth, b) Water safety, c) Program development, d) Program marketing, e) Supervisory duties, f) Class and staff scheduling, g) Registration software and database management, and h) Project Management. Display a professional image and possess the ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form with parents, students, faculty, and staff. Ability to implement organizational goals, pass background screening, and provide certifications in Lifeguard Training, CPR, First Aid, AED, and Water Safety and/or Instructors training (i.e. Red Cross WSI, Swim America, etc.). Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO) or Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certifications are preferred. Other administrative duties/responsibilities to be discussed.
