Job Summary

Gulliver Preparatory Schools’ Upper School Campus is looking to hire a Mathematics faculty to join its team of professionals for the 2024-25 school year.  This position will be responsible for teaching courses in all areas of mathematics. Qualified applicants must be able to develop and execute effective lesson plans that cover the curriculum, engage students’ interests, and promote higher-order thinking.  Additionally, this position will be expected to collaborate with other math instructors and instructors in other disciplines. Applicants must be adept at keeping accurate records of student progress and communicating with students, parents, and counselors to discuss any concerns or issues.  In addition, working knowledge of technology (e.g., Zoom, Smartboards, math applications, etc.) in the classroom is expected.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in education or related field

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree and/or Education and State Certification in subject area
  • International Baccalaureate teaching experience, especially in the area of mathematics

 

Pre-Employment Requirements

Criminal Background Check, Level II Fingerprint Screening(s), and Drug screen.
